Seating Capacity of Super Bowl 2012 Stadium Increased To 70,000

Though twelve teams participate in the NFL playoffs, eight teams will be participating in winning the Super Bowl 2012. In the NFL playoffs, four teams will be pretenders and remaining eight are full contenders.The NFL or The National Football League’s Super Bowl 2012 will start from February 5, 2012 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. As per NFL schedule, the kick off is going to start at 6.30PM Eastern Time, 5.30PM Central Time and 4.30PM Mountain and 3.30PM Pacific Time.

The Super Bowl 2012 will be broadcast on NBC at the national level and shall be aired locally on WTHR-13. Chris Collinsworth and Al Michaels will handle the play to play while Michele Tafoya will remain on the sideline.

Though around 63,000 people can sit in the stadium, for the Super Bowl 2012, the seating arrangement has been increased to 70,000. It took $720 million to construct the stadium and the different features like a retractable roof and a large window on one corner end of the field.
