Who Will Succeed Satya Sai Baba?

As Satya Sai Baba, India one of the most famous Godman is struggling between life and death in the ICU, media reports have started doing the rounds about the succession battle that may follow if anything happens to this famous Godman.

Incidentally, Satya Sai Baba built a multi-million dollar empire over the past few decades and as the news of his ill health is spreading among his disciples, question of succession is also being raised in some quarters.

The main question that is going round in the mind of his disciples is the fact that after the demise of Satya Sai baba, who will manage the huge people centric activities of the organization and also manage the huge donations which they get from all corners of the world, both India and abroad.

At present, the Trust Secretary K Chakravarthi’s words are final and he is an established authority of the trust on all financial matters till now. Two other members of the trust, Indulal Shah and former Chief Justice PN Bhagawati are expected to come in the small town of Puttapurthi to scrutinize in details all the accounts and fund management.

R.J. Ratnakar, nephew of Satya Sai Baba said, “”The trust is recognized and registered under the Income Tax Act, Foreign Contributions (Regulation) Act and other laws as applicable. All the rules are laid down in the trust deeds and everyone will have to act according to those rules.”

Devotees feel that Satya Sai Baba will live forever in their minds and he will continue to be the spiritual head of this organization as they will follow whatever he has asked them to do. We all wish a speedy recovery of Satya Sai Baba.
