Sajid Khan’s ‘Himmatwala’ Not Up To The Expectations

Sajid Khan’s ‘Himmatwala’ did not come up with the expectation level of the 1980’s remake. The director’s idea falls in keeping the balance of the remake of 1980’s. Ravi (Ajay Devgn), a street fighter went back to his native village to take revenge of his father’s death. Sher Singh’s (Mahesh Manjeraker) daughter is a spoiled brat, but later on falls in love with Ravi. The comic effects and dialogues in the film did not do any justice.

The action scenes are more of Rohit Shetty techniques. The climax of the film lacks total observation and the director lose the track completely. Even the actor Ajay Devgn feels that the jokes fall flat and reveal several times during the film. Only the presence of Ajay Devgn helps the director to touch the 100 crore budget. The newcomer Tamanaah looks gorgeous with a toned body in the ‘Taki Taki’ and Tathaiya Tathaiya’ song. The director, Sajid try hard to entertain the audience.
