Monday, 21st February is celebrated as President’s Day in the United States. This day is marked to celebrate the birthday of two of the greatest President’s of the USA, namely George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

Though the day started off as a celebration of the birthday of two of our great Presidents, but now all great Presidents will be remembered on the President’s Day 2011.

All banks will be closed on the President’s Day 2011 and hence you will not be able to do any banking activities on this day. You can keep all your banking work for Tuesday. In addition, the government offices and libraries will be closed. So, you do not gain much if you are working in the private sector.

But if you find it a day off, you can spend a nice time with your family by going for a day out. You can also celebrate the President’s Day 2011 by organizing a party at your home. You can decorate your home with the photographs of past Presidents and invite some of your close friends or relatives.

You can also encourage your child to write a wonderful private message of his or her feelings about the country and send it to the President on the President’s Day 2011 at the following address –
