Facebook Is Not Going To Shut Down On March 15th

For the past few days, there has been rumor going around in the web that the popular social networking website is going to shut down on March 15th. But the CEO of Facebook is stunned to hear the news as there was no official confirmation from his side. He asked the readers that whether they will believe if a website publishes stories on the pregnancy of Michael Obama.

Facebook Director of Corporate Communications Larry Yu has said that the rumor is baseless and has asked the Internet blogs to put an end to this silliness. The story is nothing short of a nuisance since Facebook has got huge funding of around $450 million from Goldman Sachs and $50 million from Digital Sky Technologies.

Facebook authorities has said that the rumor was started by a website which they refused to link as they have got the habit of spreading wrong news like attacks coming on humans from alien spaceships, etc. With this confirmation, we all hope that the Facebook fans will be happy.
