Arizona State University Draws Record International Students

Arizona State University has broken all previous records of enrollment as they have enrolled 72,250 students this academic year. With this, the new undergraduate enrollment has gone up to 16,000. It is an increase of 4200 students over the enrollment of fall 2009.

Arizona State University’s undergraduate enrollment has seen 9300 fresh students and 6800 getting transferred from other places. The transfer record is all time high as ASU has a strong partnership with the community colleges all over Arizona.

Students coming from out of state and international students coming to study undergraduate have also touched a record new level. Students came from all 50 states and 127 countries to the Arizona State University’s program.

13,850 students have joined ASU’s academic community this year.  The Fulton Schools of Engineering, New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, the College of Nursing and Health Innovation and the School of Nutrition and Health Promotion have experienced an increase in enrollment and it shows an increase of growing interest in the field of science and engineering.
