Two global giants in the making of Smartphone’s, HTC and Apple declared the global patent settlement along with a 10-year licensing agreement, in this month of November, 2012 after going through a high end patent war between them.
As per latest news the HTC Corp. of Taiwan is pretty happy with the settlement on patent of them with Apple Inc. The details which are related with the licensing agreement between these two giants are still kept a closely guarded secret and is not yet disclosed to the public.
But as per HTC, the fourth-quarter guidance will not change in any respect and will remain intact as before. Chief executive Peter Chou while reverting to one media statement said that as per the patent agreement HTC will be going to pay Apple $6 to $8 against individual android phone. He also said that it was nothing better than an outrageous estimate.
