Nagaland University B.A Result 2011 Is Out: Check Online

Late at night Nagaland University BA 6th Semester Result 2011 has been declared and candidates who gave the Examination of the Nagaland University B.A. 3rd Year Honours and General Examinations can now check there result online at their official website [http://www.nagauniv.org.in/]. The examinations were held in February 2011 and students were keenly waiting for the announcement.
The Nagaland University was founded on 6th Sept. 1994 by the Nagaland University Act, 1989 of the Parliament. It is the single Central University in the State with three separate campuses, including Lumami Headquarters, Kohima and Medziphema. At present the University’s entire operations are administered from its Kohima Campus as Interim Headquarters.

Nagaland University has 25 departments in its different campuses. For example, Lumami Hqrs. has 7 departments: Botany, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Sociology and Zoology. Where as Kohima campus comprises of 6 departments: Commerce, Education, English, Geology, History and Archaeology. Medziphema includes 12 departments: Agricultural Chemistry & Soil Sciences, Agricultural Economics & Statistics, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, Animal production & Management, Entomology, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Rural Development & Planning and Soil Conservation. The University is running 4 centres on Tribal Studies, Bio-diversity, Mass Communication (IIMC-NU) and Gandhian Peace Studies.
