Ice Age 4 In The Way Of Making: Release Date 13th July, 2012

20th Century Fox has publicly made it official that Ice Age 4 is moving ahead and it’ll get released on July 13, 2012.  It seems that the movie will be titled as Ice Age: Continental Drift, and this 3D animated movie was a given after the third film, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, made roughly $900 million at the worldwide box office.

Actually, while some sequels tend to make less than the earlier film, each Ice Age installment has created a new history of making more money than the one before.  The first Ice Age made $383 million (worldwide), Ice Age: The Meltdown had earned $655 (worldwide), and as we already know that the last one made almost $900 million.  That’s a astounding amount of money for a third film.

The other noteworthy fact is the Ice Age movies have been getting released every three years from 2002.  So can we expect that the next sequel i.e., Ice Age 5 will hit theaters during 2015?
