Bharti Airtel Takes The Lead By Launching 3G International Video Calling In India

Leading Telcom operator Bharti Airtel, operating in 19 countries across Asia and Africa, recently declared the launch of their newest  international video calling facilities on its third generation (3G) services for its users in India.Atul Bindal, president, mobile services, Bharti Airtel in a press meet said, as the telecom giant takes the lead in providing their Indian customers the latest international video calling capabilities on 3G enabled devices, this signals the beginning of a new era of next generation communication in the country which will certainly help the mobile users break the barrier of boundaries and immediately connect with their personal as well as business network across the world.

“Given the high demand of video calling services seen since the launch of Airtel 3G services, we are confident that our customers will see great value from the availability of this capability for international calls as well,” he further added.For the direct video calling facility to US, Canada and Bangladesh the service is available at Rs 14 per minute. Video calling to the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Oman will be charges Rs 20 per minute.
